Louis K. Nigg

Lou graduated in 1977 from the Indiana University School of Business with a degree in Accounting and practiced as a CPA in Bloomington, Indiana. He then attended the Indiana University School of Law, graduating in 1986. He has been practicing as an attorney in Lansing, Michigan since 1986.

As an attorney, Lou practices primarily in estate and elder law planning, in probate and trust administration, and in real estate, tax, and business-related matters. He has been a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan since November 1986, the Ingham County Bar Association, and the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council.

Lou is thankful for many who paved his way as a young man growing up in small town French Lick, Indiana, to allow him to be where he is today. He believes in the importance of community service and has been fortunate to serve on the boards of the Capital Area United Way, American Red Cross, Mid-Michigan Chapter, and Highfields, Inc.

Lou is married to Michele Eaddy, and they have one daughter, Vanessa. Lou and Michele, both attorneys, do their best to have balance between their professional and personal lives, enjoying collegiate sports of all kinds, travelling, movies, and reading.
