Nathan Simmons

Nathan Simmons has been part of the Tech Industry since he first touched a computer when he was 7 years old, making him an IT veteran with over 30 years of experience. He has worked with tech everywhere from a one-man IT support company to large international corporations. Today, his focus is on using technology to meet real-world human needs first and playing with fun gadgets second. He has supported Mid-Michigan Estate Planning Law Firm since before its transition from Louis K Nigg, PLC. He formed Curate OS in order to better meet the growing needs of MMEP, as well as other small to medium sized firms who need enterprise level technology and support without the enterprise level bills.

Outside of work, Nathan is a nerd. He loves to spend time with his family, which includes two young children, his wife, and a dog. He is a voracious reader (especially science fiction) and a life-long learner. He especially enjoys Star Trek and The Expanse (again - he's a big old nerd). He plays Pokémon games with his kids (both physical and virtual) and teaches at their homeschool co-op. He can often be found in his neighborhood walking his family's dog, hanging out with his kids at the local park, or conversing with his neighbors (probably with either a dog or children attached).
